Mentoring is a supplementary offer implemented by advanced students. It shall facilitate the change from school to studying and help with occurring problems. The students are allocated to mentoring groups during the freshers’ week. Alternatively, one can directly register for a group via a temporarily available link. The attendance is voluntary.
What is mentoring?
Mentoring aims at actively supporting first-term students particularly during the starting period with study organization and settling in the place of study and all occurring questions and problems. This support is provided by advanced students from the relevant specialization who profit from own experiences and are particularly prepared for their mentoring work. The mentoring is organized in groups comprising of up to 25 “freshers”. These groups meet regularly all over the first term.
