Degree programs in German

All degree programs in the Department of Computer Science are offered in German. Some of the program’s modules (including their exams) are offered in English.

Prospective students whose native language is not German or who do not have graduated from a German High School must prove they have sufficient German language skills on level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Master’s degree program Computer Science in English

The master’s degree program Computer Science can be studied completely in English (with a restricted choice of modules).

Prospective students whose native language is neither German nor English or who do not have graduated from a German High School must prove they have sufficient language skills in German or English.
In German they have to prove on level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). In English they have to score at least 94 points in TOEFL IBT or at least 7.0 points in IELTS. The language certificate must not be older than two years.
