Methodology: Visual and Computational Analytics
Core of the science field are interactive and automated methods for analyzing data which are, amongst others, produced by living systems. Models that characterize the dynamics of such complex systems are developed and analyzed. Forecasts and state estimations are possible with the aid of these models. The science field includes visual data analysis and information visualization, technologies for interaction and immersion, stochastic simulation methods, verification tools and methods of machine and statistic learning for models and parameters.
