Computational Demography is demography by computer science resources. Key topic of demography is the development of our society with the demographic approach being very much data-driven here. The topics cover questions of population development, development of birth rates, migration, pension schemes and health care and longevity. Data acquisition, data analysis, model development and predictions characterize everyday life and require not only a use but also, resulting from the special requirements, the development of computing methods in the fields databases, machine learning, modelling, simulation and visualization.
