Admission requirements

Precondition for accessing the master study course Informational Technology/Computer Engineering is a bachelor degree in Informational Technology/Computer Engineering with at least 180 credit points or an equivalent degree.

At least 24 credit points in mathematics and 6 credit points in theoretical electrical engineering or 6 credit points in theoretical computer science minimum must be proven. 12 credit points maximum can be achieved in the course of the first year.

If a bachelor study course was completed with 180 credit points minimum, but less than 210 credit points, the missing 30 credit points must be achieved before registering for the master thesis.

Prospective students whose native language is not German or who do not have graduated from a German High School must prove they have sufficient German language skills on level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
