Die Institutsdirektoren sowie die Vorsitzenden von Prüfungsausschuss und Studienkommission haben über die neue Situation beraten.
Zunächst gilt, dass alle Aussagen aus der Mail der Universitätsleitung auch bei uns vollständig umgesetzt werden. Alle Abgabedeadlines sind auf Mitte April verschoben.
Parallel dazu stehen wir mit der Universitätsleitung in Kontakt, um sinnvolle Ausnahmen zu ermöglichen. So bemühen wir uns vor allem um die Genehmigung, mündliche Prüfungen und Kolloquien für Abschlussarbeiten in der Zeit der Schließung per Videokonferenz durchzuführen. Wir denken vor allem an Abschlussarbeiten, wo bereits ein Arbeitsvertrag an den pünktlichen Abschluss gekoppelt ist. Außerdem wollen wir die Komplexprüfungen im Masterstudium möglichst über die Bühne bringen. Sollten wir diese Genehmigung bekommen, würden sie auf jeden Fall nur solche Prüfungen betreffen, in denen ALLE Beteiligten damit einverstanden sind.
Wir prüfen, ob wir in der Zeit der Schließung Informationen auch auf der Webseite des Instituts bereitstellen können. Bitte besuchen Sie regelmäßig diese Seiten.
Wir arbeiten daran, ab Mitte April einen Lehrbetrieb zu gewährleisten. Wir treffen auch Vorbereitungen für den Fall, dass auch nach Ostern keine Präsenzlehre möglich ist. Dann werden wir so viele Veranstaltungen wie möglich elektronisch bereitstellen.

The two directors of the computer science institutes as well as the chairpersons of the examination committee and the study committee discussed the new situation.
First of all, all statements from the email from the university management are also fully implemented by us. In particular, all deadlines for submitting homework etc. are extended until mid of April.
At the same time, we are in contact with the university management to make sensible exceptions. For example, we strive for permission to conduct oral exams and colloquia for theses during the time of closure via video conference. We think primarily of theses where an employment contract is already linked to the punctual completion. Moreover, we care about complex exams in the master's programs. Should we get this approval, it would definitely only affect those tests in which ALL participants agree.

We are working to ensure that lectures start in mid-April. We also make preparations in the event that face-to-face teaching is not possible after Easter, when we will then electronically provide as many lectures as possible.
