Peter Danielis received his Master's degree in Information Technology at the University of Rostock in 2006. Following his studies, he received his PhD there in 2012 with honors as Dr.-Ing. After receiving his PhD, he was a post-doctoral student at the University of Rostock and at the KTH in Stockholm, Sweden, and completed his habilitation in 2019. After being a consultant for IT security at T-Systems Multimedia Solutions GmbH from 2018-2019, he has held the substitute professorship for "Distributed High Performance Computing" at the University of Rostock since 2019. On July 6, 2022 Peter Danielis was appointed as a Lecturer for the scientific field of Parallel Systems at the University of Rostock. He was appointed Professor of Parallel Systems on December 4, 2024. His current research focuses are "Parallel data dissemination and processing in mobile opportunistic networks" and "Distributed and parallel communication networks and systems".
