In the compulsory part, 4 modules with a total scope of 54 credit points must be attended.

30 credit points of these are allocated to the final thesis that comprises of the written master thesis and the colloquium.

A project work with a scope of 12 credit points is compulsary, too.

Furthermore, the modules „Research topics in computer science” and „Recent developments in computer science” (6 credit points each) must be studied. Both modules are not graded but assessed with „passed“ or „not passed“. Thus, they are not included into the final mark.
