DFG Funds Project in Practical Computer Science

Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft grants 245.000€ over 30 months for the project "Real-Time Publish/Subscribe for the Industrial Internet of Things (RTiPS-4-IIoT)" of the Architecture of Application Systems group.
The project is conducted in cooperation with the Institute for Applied Microelectronics and Computer Science. The goal of the project is to investigate a convergent communication infrastructure with heterogeneous and application-specific real-time constraints for future smart factories and to realize this infrastructure with publish/subscribe communication and software-defined networking.
